About The Position

The Caldwell, a Southern-inspired restaurant and bar inside The Buxton in Fort Collins, is seeking a friendly, dependable, service-oriented Barista / Server. The role focuses primarily on morning breakfast and coffee service and combines coffee preparation, breakfast service, and traditional serving responsibilities. The successful candidate will help create a warm, inviting atmosphere and enjoyable experience for hotel guests, locals, and visitors.

Responsibilities

Welcome guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service.
Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other beverages.
Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
Assist with breakfast service by presenting menu options and making recommendations.
Maintain and restock coffee and pastry stations throughout each shift.
Ensure baked goods, breakfast items, and beverage stations are attractively presented and properly stocked.
Maintain knowledge of the breakfast menu, ingredients, and available offerings.
Monitor guest needs and proactively offer refills and assistance.
Keep workstations, dining areas, and service stations clean, organized, and sanitary.
Complete daily opening, closing, and side-work responsibilities.
Follow food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards.
Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, management, and other team members.
Assist with additional restaurant service responsibilities as business needs require.
