About The Position

The Server Assistant, working at Gordon Ramsay Steak, will assist servers with providing food and water to guests, as well as cleaning and resetting tables in the dining room. This role requires a friendly, upbeat, and positive attitude to ensure expeditious service without sacrificing quality. The Server Assistant will maintain a neat, clean, organized, safe, and comfortable environment for guests, and complete various side-work requirements. A constant flow of soiled dishes to the kitchen and clean supplies to the dining room must be maintained.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
Previous restaurant experience preferred.
Must possess basic food knowledge.
Must be well groomed, professional, and have excellent communication skills.
Great interpersonal skills, cheerful attitude, and team player are required.
Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business.

Responsibilities

Ensures that expeditious service is provided to each guest without sacrificing quality.
Ensures that water glasses are full throughout the meal.
Knows and is able to communicate the daily menu offering.
Clears dishware and flatware as necessary throughout the dinner service.
Meticulously cleans and resets dining room tables and booths.
Continuously maintains a neat, clean, organized, safe, and comfortable environment for our guests.
Completes pre, running, and post shift side-work requirements.
Maintains a constant flow of soiled dishes to the kitchen and clean supplies to the dining room.
Understands performance expectations.
