About The Position

The Server Assistant at Stories on High, Hilton Columbus Downtown, supports dining service and helps create memorable guest experiences through friendly, attentive hospitality. The role includes preparing and maintaining tables and service stations, assisting servers with food and beverage delivery, and clearing tableware after meals. The Server Assistant must follow health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations.

Responsibilities

• Bring an upbeat, friendly attitude to guest interactions and look for ways to make guests’ meal experiences special.
• Set and arrange dining tables, including folding napkins and cleaning and placing tableware.
• Check tableware for cleanliness and good condition, and report issues for immediate repair.
• Keep service stations stocked, clean, and ready for service.
• Assist servers by delivering beverages, bread, and other items as needed.
• Remove dishware, glassware, and silverware after meal service and take them to the dishwashing area.
• Follow health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations.
