About The Position

As a full-time Server Assistant at Stories on High at Hilton Columbus Downtown, you help prepare for dining service and contribute to memorable guest experiences through warm, attentive hospitality. You support servers and dining operations by preparing tables, maintaining service stations, delivering items, and clearing tableware. You are also expected to follow health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol-awareness regulations.

Responsibilities

• Bring an upbeat, friendly attitude to guest interactions and proactively look for ways to make each meal experience special.
• Set and arrange dining tables, including folding napkins and cleaning and placing tableware.
• Ensure tableware is clean and in excellent condition, and report issues for immediate repair.
• Keep service stations stocked, clean, and ready for service.
• Assist servers by delivering beverages, bread, and other items as needed.
• Remove dishware, glassware, and silverware after meal service and transport them to the dishwashing area.
• Comply with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol-awareness regulations.
