About The Position

Server 1 delivers food and beverage service to club members and guests, aiming to make each interaction reflect Invited’s service standards. The role applies the three steps of service—warm welcomes, magic moments, and fond farewells—and works with colleagues to provide a seamless dining experience and support member satisfaction and retention. This is a non-lead position that also helps with dining-area operations and other service duties as needed.

The Server maintains knowledge of the à la carte menu, daily features, and specials; executes orders promptly; and keeps work areas clean, organized, and stocked. The role also includes following club policies and safety practices, attending briefings, wearing a uniform that meets club standards, and taking on additional duties as assigned.

The position requires extended periods of standing and walking and may involve work in varying temperatures and environments. Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling of up to 100 pounds is required. Weekend and holiday work, as well as additional hours to meet deadlines, may be required.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to speak clearly and effectively.
• Ability to follow instructions and communicate well with team members.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical activities for extended periods.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments, with potential exposure to dust, fumes, or gases.
• Ability to climb ladders, squat, kneel, reach, grasp, twist, bend, and fold or unfold items as required.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 100 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to talk and hear, with sufficient visual acuity.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous Food and Beverage service experience.
• Current Food Handler and Alcohol Server Certifications as required by state and city regulations.
• Completion of Invited’s F&B Service Training program.

Responsibilities

• Maintain service standards by following Invited’s F&B service training program.
• Serve food and beverages to members and guests and execute orders in a timely manner.
• Maintain complete knowledge of the à la carte menu, daily features, and specials.
• Greet members by name and provide a warm welcome.
• Work with fellow employees to provide a seamless member and guest experience.
• Handle complaints using service recovery techniques and resolve issues promptly.
• Complete daily assignments and side work; keep work areas organized, clean, and well-stocked.
• Follow club standards for cleanliness, organization, and safety.
• Complete additional duties as assigned by management and assist others as needed.
• Follow company, club, and department policies, procedures, and instructions.
• Maintain professionalism and a commitment to excellence in interactions with members, colleagues, and staff.
• Follow safe working practices and encourage others to do the same.
• Pursue personal and professional growth and maintain required role-related certifications.
• Address challenges using available resources and work with regional and corporate teams to support club operations.
• Attend daily briefings and participate in required activities.
• Wear a clean, neat uniform that meets club standards.
