About The Position

SearchPilot is seeking a smart, motivated, and passionate analyst to join their Professional Services team in the US. This role is remote, with occasional in-person collaboration in Seattle. The SearchPilot platform allows customers to conduct SEO A/B tests, implement agile website changes, and measure their SEO and CRO impact. Previously part of Distilled, SearchPilot powers websites for major global brands and Fortune 500 companies.

Requirements

• Strong technical aptitude.
• Basic understanding of SEO.
• Demonstrate technical aptitude - comfortable working with data and understanding how web pages work.
• Demonstrate project management skills - including setting and achieving deadlines.
• Demonstrate communication skills - ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Demonstrate ability to work in a team - including delegating and accepting delegated tasks.
• Demonstrate self-motivation & ownership - ability to plan own time and stay on top of priorities.
• Demonstrate attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

• Professional experience working in SEO, especially technical SEO.
• Familiarity with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics.
• Ability to work with data.
• Understanding of HTML/CSS.
• Comfortable with Python or pivot tables and VLOOKUP formulas in Excel / Google Sheets.
• Consulting experience.
• Experience with programming languages, especially JavaScript.
• Knowledge of regular expressions.
• Any web development experience, like building your own website or blog.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer relationships, including onboarding new customers.
• Keep customers updated on test planning and results.
• Develop SEO test hypotheses and collaborate with customers on prioritization.
• Utilize the SearchPilot testing platform to implement website changes and set up tests.
• Monitor and analyze split test outcomes.
• Communicate test results through regular customer meetings and written reports.
• Build personal brand by sharing insights from split testing via public case studies and blog posts.
• Learn from and teach colleagues, growing visibility in the wider industry.
