About The Position

The Wilkinson Firm is seeking an SEO Performance Contractor to drive organic traffic and customer acquisition across their three websites: thewilkinsonfirm.com, hr.thewilkinsonfirm.com, and hospitality.thewilkinsonfirm.com. This is a remote, 1099 contractor role with a performance-based compensation structure involving a retainer plus traffic share. The contractor will be responsible for developing keyword strategies, conducting audits, optimizing on-page elements, creating content briefs, tracking rankings, and attributing organic traffic to sales pipeline. The role offers significant upside potential as performance grows.

Requirements

• 3-7 years B2B SEO experience
• Tool fluency: Ahrefs, SEMrush, Search Console, Screaming Frog, GA4
• Proficiency in schema markup, structured data, and technical SEO
• Experience in content brief authorship that leads to ranking content
• Documented traffic growth stories on prior client sites

Nice To Haves

• Vertical SEO depth in workforce, healthcare, professional services, or hospitality

Responsibilities

• Conduct full SEO audit across the three TWF sites
• Develop keyword strategy by vertical: workforce strategy, behavioral health workforce, hospitality staffing, MBE professional services, government contracting workforce
• Perform on-page optimization: title tags, meta descriptions, schema, internal linking
• Address technical SEO: Core Web Vitals, crawl, sitemap, robots, structured data
• Author content briefs for blog and resource hub pages
• Provide monthly ranking and traffic reporting
• Attribute pipeline: identify which organic visits convert to inbound conversations
