About The Position

EY’s Government Contract Services (GCS) team assists businesses that contract with and participate in programs sponsored by U.S. state and federal government entities. We provide support not only in understanding and complying with federal and state contract and program obligations but also in making informed operational decisions that help maintain a competitive advantage in the market while ensuring our clients meet their compliance requirements. Our GCS team works with industry-leading clients to develop innovative recommendations to some of the most challenging compliance risks and market opportunities that they face. Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or related field
  • 2+ years of related work experience
  • Achieved, or be working towards a professional designation, such as CPA, CFA, CFE
  • Experience working with U.S. state or federal regulatory programs, preferably including Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), CAS, Medicare, Medicaid, FSS, Agency Supplements to the FAR (such as the DFARS), and/or prevailing wage requirements under the Davis-Bacon Act (DBA) and Service Contract Labor Standards (SCLS)
  • Effective project and time management skills and the ability to prioritize when working on multiple engagements
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of PC-based tools (e.g., MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel)
  • The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary
  • Access to reliable transportation to/from the EY office and client sites. A driver’s license is strongly recommended as ride share and public transportation options may not be available in all locations
