About The Position

This role is for a Senior Workday Finance Lead focusing on the Record to Report (R2R) process. The lead will be responsible for configuring Workday Financials, managing integrations, supporting daily operations, and ensuring data integrity within the Workday system and its connected applications like Adaptive Planning.

Requirements

Workday R2R Certification (Mandatory)
5+ years in Finance Systems experience
Deep knowledge of GAAP/IFRS accounting principles

Responsibilities

Own the Financial Data Model (FDM) in Workday.
Configure Business Processes for Journals, Fixed Assets, and Allocations.
Design the period-close checklist to shorten close cycles.
Maintain the integration between Workday Core Finance and Adaptive Planning.
Manage versions, sheets, and level structures for annual budgeting and forecasting in Adaptive Planning.
Configure Bank Account Management, Settlement Rules, and Ad-hoc Bank Transactions.
Manage withholding tax rules and sales tax adapter integrations.
Design Composite Reports for external financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow).
Provide L2 support for period close, troubleshooting 'red' errors.
Investigate and fix bank statement reconciliation issues.
Provide user support for Adaptive Planning, including access issues and formula fixes.
Correct asset depreciation errors or rollback incorrect asset disposals.
Govern the FDM by reviewing and approving requests for new Cost Centers or Ledger Accounts, ensuring correct mapping to Adaptive.
