Senior Workday Finance Lead – R2R

About The Position

This role is for a Senior Workday Finance Lead focusing on the Record to Report (R2R) process. The lead will be responsible for configuring and maintaining various Workday modules, including Financial Data Model (FDM), Adaptive Planning, Tax & Treasury functionalities, and reporting. Additionally, the role involves L2 support for daily operational activities such as period close, bank reconciliation, Adaptive user support, asset management, and FDM governance.

Requirements

Mandatory Certification: Workday R2R
5+ years in Finance Systems
Deep knowledge of GAAP/IFRS accounting principles

Responsibilities

Own the Financial Data Model (FDM).
Configure Business Processes for Journals, Fixed Assets, and Allocations.
Design the period-close checklist to shorten close cycles.
Maintain the integration between Workday Core Fin and Adaptive Planning.
Manage versions, sheets, and level structures for annual budgeting and forecasting in Adaptive Planning.
Configure Bank Account Management, Settlement Rules, and Ad-hoc Bank Transactions.
Manage withholding tax rules and sales tax adapter integrations.
Design Composite Reports for external financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow).
Provide L2 Support for period close issues, including troubleshooting 'red' errors preventing period close.
Investigate and fix bank statement lines that fail to auto-reconcile with system transactions.
Troubleshoot Adaptive Planning user access issues and fix broken formulas.
Correct asset depreciation errors or rollback incorrect asset disposals.
Review and approve requests for new Cost Centers or Ledger Accounts, ensuring correct mapping to Adaptive.
