About The Position

This role is for a Senior Workday Finance Lead focusing on Record to Report (R2R) and Procure to Pay (P2P) processes. The lead will be responsible for owning the Financial Data Model (FDM), configuring business processes, designing period-close procedures, and managing integrations with Adaptive Planning. Additionally, the role involves configuring tax and treasury functions, designing financial reports, and providing L2 support for daily operational activities including period close, bank reconciliation, Adaptive Planning support, asset management, and FDM governance.

Requirements

Mandatory Certification: Workday Pro/Implementer in Core Financials or Adaptive Planning.
5+ years in Finance Systems, with deep knowledge of GAAP/IFRS accounting principles.

Nice To Haves

CPA or background in Accounting is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Own the Financial Data Model (FDM).
Configure Business Processes for Journals, Fixed Assets, and Allocations.
Design the period-close checklist to shorten close cycles.
Handle P2P related ops issues.
Maintain the integration between Workday Core Fin and Adaptive Planning.
Manage versions, sheets, and level structures for annual budgeting and forecasting in Adaptive Planning.
Configure Bank Account Management, Settlement Rules, and Ad-hoc Bank Transactions.
Manage withholding tax rules and sales tax adapter integrations.
Design Composite Reports for external financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow).
Troubleshoot "red" errors preventing period close (e.g., resolving unposted journals, fixing accounting date mismatches).
Investigate and fix bank statement lines that fail to auto-reconcile with system transactions.
Troubleshoot access issues for budget managers and fix broken formulas in Adaptive sheets.
Correct asset depreciation errors or rollback incorrect asset disposals.
Review and approve requests for new Cost Centers or Ledger Accounts, ensuring they map correctly to Adaptive.
