About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Vue.js / Web Content Engineer to own and evolve a multi-branded, Contentful-backed web platform supporting production marketing applications. In this hands-on engineering role, you will drive frontend development using Vue 3, Nuxt 3, and TypeScript, while architecting and governing the Contentful Headless CMS infrastructure. Beyond core software development, you will establish platform standards for multi-site architectures, optimize content delivery pipelines, and directly perform content operations in Contentful when high-priority business needs arise. Operating with high technical autonomy, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners across Product, Marketing, UX, SEO, Legal, DevOps, and Security to deliver high-performing, secure, and reliable web platforms.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Web Development, or a related technical field.
5+ years of professional software engineering experience with demonstrated ownership of production web applications or frontend platforms.
Strong, hands-on experience building, scaling, and maintaining web applications using Nuxt 3, Vue 3, TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, and modern build tooling.
Proven expertise with Contentful, including content modeling, environment management, roles/permissions, publishing workflows, webhooks, and API integrations.
Experience architecting multi-site platforms, monorepos, shared packages/layers, and reusable component libraries.
Demonstrated track record of supporting production marketing websites with strict standards for SEO, performance, accessibility, consent management, and web analytics.
Strong experience in several of the following areas: Frontend Frameworks: Advanced hands-on mastery of Vue 3, Nuxt 3, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), Node.js, and modern frontend build tools.
Headless CMS & Contentful Architecture: Deep experience with Contentful space governance, content modeling, environment management, webhooks, and Contentful APIs (GraphQL, CDA, CPA, CMA).
Platform & Multi-Site Patterns: Experience building monorepos, shared Nuxt layers, reusable packages, component design systems, and multi-brand web architectures.
Web Operations & Analytics: Strong understanding of SEO, redirects, structured metadata, tag management, consent tooling, web performance profiling, and web accessibility (WCAG).
Engineering Workflows: Proficiency in Git workflows, pull requests, code reviews, automated unit/integration testing, and CI/CD release pipelines.
Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal).
Strong communication, technical leadership, and non-technical stakeholder collaboration skills.
Pragmatic mindset with a strong willingness to perform hands-on content operations when business needs require direct engineering support.
Excellent analytical, diagnostic, and root-cause troubleshooting abilities.
High level of technical ownership, attention to detail, and commitment to software reliability and security.

Nice To Haves

Experience managing enterprise Contentful setups featuring multiple spaces, environments, brands, and complex workflow governance.
Experience with GraphQL query design, schema evolution, typed content delivery patterns, and cache/CDN invalidation strategies.
Familiarity with containerization and cloud pipelines (Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD, Docker, AWS, Secrets Manager).
Experience with Vitest, Vue testing utilities, design systems (Vuetify, SCSS), or token-based theming.
Prior experience supporting regulated, tax, financial, or compliance-sensitive web applications.

Responsibilities

Own, design, and maintain production Nuxt 3, Vue 3, and TypeScript web applications backed by a shared Contentful platform architecture.
Design, govern, and maintain Contentful content models, spaces, environments, roles, permissions, workflows, preview modes, webhooks, and release pipelines.
Build and maintain robust integrations between web applications and Contentful using GraphQL, Content Delivery API (CDA), Preview API (CPA), and Content Management API (CMA).
Define and enforce platform standards for multi-site development, including shared Nuxt layers, reusable packages, application routing, component theming, and automated testing.
Author, edit, validate, and publish Contentful content when direct engineering support is required for complex, time-sensitive, or governance-critical releases.
Troubleshoot complex production issues across web applications, Contentful configurations, deployment pipelines, third-party scripts, and content delivery layers.
Partner closely with Product, Marketing, UX, SEO, Legal, DevOps, Security, and Engineering teams to translate business needs into maintainable, production-safe solutions.
Participate in architectural design reviews, establish pragmatic engineering guardrails, and mentor team members on Contentful, Nuxt/Vue, and web platform best practices.
