About The Position

The Senior Volunteer Coordinator leads the volunteer program at Collingswood Manor, a United Methodist Communities community in Collingswood, New Jersey. The role recruits, onboards, trains, schedules, and places volunteers who support residents through friendly visits, conversation, and help with events. Residents live across independent living, assisted living, memory care, short-term rehabilitation, and skilled nursing on one campus. The coordinator builds relationships with community members, organizations, and local businesses; supports and recognizes volunteers; tracks volunteer contributions and community impact; and partners with colleagues across multiple communities to strengthen volunteer engagement and programs. The position is based at Collingswood Manor and is scheduled Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend events as needed.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least 5 years of experience coordinating volunteers, community programs, outreach, or public relations.
Experience supervising staff or leading a team.
Must be able to produce a negative drug test.
Flu vaccine required; medical and religious exemptions may be requested.
