About The Position

The SVP, Transformation & Optimization, reporting into the Chief Accounting Officer, is responsible for leading key transformation initiatives focused on improving processes, implementing scalable systems, and driving operational efficiencies across the organization. The position will play a hands-on role in evaluating existing workflows, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing technology solutions that streamline operations, strengthen controls, and reduce manual effort. The ideal candidate combines strong finance and accounting knowledge with experience leading systems implementations, process redesign, and cross-functional operational initiatives.

Requirements

  • Experience leading or supporting finance systems implementations and operational transformation initiatives
  • Strong understanding of accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and finance workflows
  • Background working with ERP, EPM, procurement, expense management, or workflow automation platforms
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving, process improvement, and project management skills
  • Hands-on approach with the ability to operate both strategically and tactically

Responsibilities

  • Lead transformation initiatives focused on process improvement, automation, and operational scalability
  • Support implementation and optimization of financial systems
  • Partner with Accounting, Finance and IT teams to improve system integrations, data flow, and reporting capabilities
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and standardize finance processes across the organization
  • Help modernize core finance functions including close, consolidation, budgeting, forecasting, AP, procurement, and expense management
  • Drive operational improvements that reduce manual processes and improve efficiency across the finance organization
  • Assist in evaluating and implementing automation solutions, including workflow tools, OCR, AI-enabled processes, and reporting enhancements
  • Support vendor evaluations, implementation planning, testing, training, and post-go-live optimization activities
  • Develop process documentation, governance structures, and operational best practices to support scalable growth
  • Partner with leadership to prioritize transformation initiatives and manage project execution timelines
