About The Position

Hotel Equities is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Vice President of Sales to lead and elevate a high-performing commercial sales organization within a growing hospitality portfolio. This executive leader will drive topline revenue strategy across full-service, lifestyle, and food & beverage-focused hotel assets while building a culture of accountability, innovation, and market leadership. The ideal candidate brings extensive multi-property hospitality sales leadership experience with deep knowledge of Marriott International, Hilton, and IHG Hotels & Resorts brand systems, commercial strategy, and revenue optimization. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong owner relations, operational partnership, and hands-on leadership capabilities.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of senior-level hospitality sales leadership experience.
  • Extensive experience overseeing full service, lifestyle, and food & beverage-driven hotel environments.
  • Strong background managing multi-property or regional hotel sales organizations.
  • Proven success driving revenue growth and market penetration strategies.
  • Deep understanding of Marriott, Hilton, and IHG sales platforms, systems, and brand initiatives.
  • Strong executive presence with exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience presenting to ownership groups and executive leadership teams.
  • Ability to travel as needed to support portfolio initiatives and hotel teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise-wide sales strategy for a portfolio of full-service and lifestyle hotels.
  • Develop and execute aggressive revenue growth initiatives across group, transient, catering, and food & beverage segments.
  • Partner closely with Operations, Revenue Management, Marketing, and F&B leadership to maximize hotel profitability and market share.
  • Mentor, develop, and inspire Regional Directors of Sales and property-level sales teams.
  • Drive proactive sales culture through accountability, performance metrics, coaching, and strategic selling.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, sales deployment strategies, and business planning initiatives.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with ownership groups, brand partners, key accounts, CVBs, and industry organizations.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive intelligence, and commercial performance to identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Ensure brand compliance and strategic alignment with Marriott, Hilton, and IHG commercial initiatives.
  • Lead portfolio-wide sales meetings, business reviews, and strategic planning sessions.
