About The Position

The Senior UX/UI Designer will lead end-to-end design of AI-powered creation features, from discovery and UX strategy through polished, development-ready UI. The role includes planning and conducting user research, translating insights into recommendations, and using AI tools for rapid synthesis while validating findings against source data.

The designer will create experiences for unpredictable AI output, including generation states, multiple results, regeneration, partial success, and graceful failure, while keeping users in control. The role also involves promoting trust through transparency and responsible AI practices, including protecting personal photos and supporting fair representation in generated content.

The designer will deliver responsive UI and code-based prototypes for web and iOS, contribute reusable AI interaction patterns to the design system, and collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and designers. Decisions should be documented so the team can continue the work after the engagement.

Requirements

• 8–10 years in UX/UI or product design.
• A portfolio showing end-to-end work and shipped AI-powered features, including process, trade-offs, and outcomes.
• Fluency with AI design tools such as Figma Make, Claude, and Cursor; judgment to know when not to rely on them; and ability to prototype with real model output.
• Experience designing generative or AI-assisted creative tools.
• Strong understanding of how LLM-based systems behave, including non-deterministic output, latency, and error modes.
• Strong interaction and visual design craft, including accessibility (WCAG), responsive design, and native iOS conventions.
• Clear async writing and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and drive decisions with cross-functional partners.
• Degree in Design, HCI, Psychology, or equivalent practical experience.
