About The Position
The Senior UX/UI Designer will join a Global Design group that contributes to a range of product and strategic initiatives by participating in every aspect of the design process, from discovery and ideation, to prototyping, testing, iterating and product launch. The position is based in Toronto and may require some international travel to other CITCO locations. The Senior UX/UI Designer will report to the Design Director, and interact with business stakeholders, and technical groups.
Requirements
- Senior UX/UI Designer experience
- Experience in the financial services industry is a plus
- Experience with user research, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite)
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in the alternative investment space
- Experience working in a global development environment
- Knowledge of front-end development principles
