About The Position

The Senior UI/UX Designer leads the creation and continual improvement of digital experiences and system interfaces that are cohesive, purposeful, intuitive, easy to use, and reflective of the Sheetz brand. The role oversees design from wireframe concepts through high-fidelity, production-ready materials and develops user flows and journey maps. It works closely with development teams to ensure components are implemented as intended, leads product discovery workshops to gather business requirements and align cross-functional teams, and collaborates with the Insightz team on consumer research and testing. The designer also studies platform analytics, develops actionable improvement plans, manages a team of UI/UX designers, and maintains digital brand standards, creative guides, and media libraries with the Sheetz creative team.

Equivalent combinations of education, licenses, certifications, and/or experience may be considered. A bachelor’s degree in a design field or Human Computer Interaction is required. The role requires at least five years of UI/UX design experience across web and mobile platforms, experience in an Agile development environment, in-depth knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, and the ability to manage multiple requests and competing priorities. Prior supervisory experience and experience with usability factors in Human Computer Interaction are preferred. No licenses or certifications are listed as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a design field or Human Computer Interaction.
• At least five years of UI/UX design experience across various web and mobile platforms.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• In-depth knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
• Ability to manage multiple design requests in a timely manner while balancing competing priorities and deadlines.
• Understanding and appreciation of standard user interface design concepts and processes.

Nice To Haves

• Prior supervisory experience.
• Experience with usability factors in Human Computer Interaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead product discovery workshops and brainstorming sessions to gather business requirements and promote cross-functional alignment for new projects.
• Develop and conduct ad-hoc and recurring consumer feedback and testing research with the Insightz team.
• Study platform analytics to understand consumer behavior and create actionable improvement plans.
• Manage a team of high-performing UI/UX designers to execute tasks successfully.
• Develop and maintain digital brand standards, creative guides, and media libraries with the Sheetz creative team.
