About The Position

The purpose of this role is to drive design direction across websites, marketing pages, and digital products from early concept through final handoff within a small, focused creative agency and Webflow Enterprise Partner. The successful candidate will set the quality standard for the design team, build scalable systems, and work directly with clients and strategists to deliver interfaces that are visually distinctive, technically achievable, and optimized using analytics and data.

Requirements

  • Fluent or native proficiency in English with presentation skills and English-speaking client-facing experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma: slots, components, auto layout, variables, variants, and prototyping.
  • UI Design for Web: Complex responsive layouts, typography systems, and visual hierarchy at scale; a portfolio demonstrating exceptional craft, refined typography, considered spacing, and expressive but disciplined visual language.
  • UI/UX for Digital Products and Apps: Strong portfolio of work across both web and product contexts.
  • Interaction Design Fluency: Hover states, transitions, motion, micro-interactions, and complex prototypes that communicate intent before development.
  • Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Multiple years of CRO experience with a track record of running tests, optimizing funnels, and shipping changes that moved metrics on real production sites and products.
  • Analytics Tooling: Hands-on experience with web and product analytics tooling (Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, GA event tracking, Hotjar or Clarity for session replay and heatmaps, Mixpanel or Amplitude for product analytics).
  • Data Validation: Comfortable specifying tracking requirements, reading reports, and validating that data is being captured correctly before drawing conclusions.
  • A/B Testing: Experience designing and implementing A/B tests, including hypothesis, variant design, success criteria, and post-test analysis.
  • Webflow Fluency: Deep understanding of how Webflow structures layouts, breakpoints, interactions, and CMS-driven content.
  • Design Systems: Ability to build, maintain, and document a component library from scratch.
  • User Flows & Information Architecture: Comfortable mapping full experiences, not just individual screens.
  • Design Handoff: Organized, thorough files with clear specs, states, and annotations, maintaining strict alignment precision.
  • Accessibility: Fundamental knowledge of WCAG guidelines.
  • User Research & Usability Testing: Ability to plan and run a research session, not just interpret results.
  • Brand Identity: Experience with brand identity and visual identity work.
  • Interface Design: Experience designing for content-heavy or data-rich interfaces.
  • SEO/AEO: Familiarity with Search Engine Optimization and Answer Engine Optimization considerations in design.

Nice To Haves

  • Webflow Designer Experience: Comfortable building and prototyping directly in Webflow.
  • Advanced Motion & Interaction Design: Experience with tools like After Effects or ProtoPie for complex prototyping.
  • AI Integration: Experience with AI-assisted design and concepting workflows integrated into the design process.
  • 3D Elements: Experience with 3D and spatial UI elements (such as Spline) for immersive web and product experiences.
  • Data Visualization: Experience designing dashboard UIs for complex, information-dense interfaces.
  • E-commerce UX: Knowledge of checkout flows, product pages, and conversion-focused design patterns.
  • Presentation & Pitch Design: Translating UX thinking into stakeholder-facing materials and decks.
  • Content Strategy & UX Writing: Shaping copy and hierarchy together, rather than separately.
  • Workshop Facilitation: Experience leading collaborative design sprints or sessions with clients or cross-functional teams.
  • Statistical Concepts: Familiarity with concepts relevant to experimentation (sample size, significance, confidence intervals).
  • Advanced Analytics Setup: Experience with server-side or hybrid tagging setups, or with consent and privacy-aware analytics implementations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead design direction for websites, landing pages, and digital product interfaces from concept through delivery.
  • Craft visually distinctive UIs and interaction design that elevate brand perception and convert, ensuring every component, state, micro-interaction, and transition feels intentional and polished.
  • Build and own design systems and component libraries that scale across projects and clients.
  • Design across web and product contexts, moving comfortably between a marketing site and a complex app interface in the same week.
  • Design with deep Webflow fluency, anticipating how layouts, interactions, and CMS structures will be built before development begins.
  • Collaborate closely with Webflow developers throughout the process, not just at handoff.
  • Present work to clients with clarity and confidence, and facilitate design feedback sessions.
  • Plan, design, and ship CRO experiments across marketing sites and product funnels, applying several years of hands-on experience driving measurable lift.
  • Read and interpret behavioral and quantitative data from tools like Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity, and Mixpanel to identify friction, drop-off, and opportunities.
  • Form hypotheses, define success metrics, design test variants, and partner with developers to implement A/B and multivariate tests in Webflow, Optimizely, VWO, or similar platforms.
  • Map and instrument conversion funnels end-to-end, from acquisition through activation, including event tracking specs and dataLayer requirements.
  • Translate analytics findings into design recommendations the team can act on, and close the loop by reporting on what worked, what didn’t, and what to test next.
  • Lead design timelines end-to-end, coordinating with developers, strategists, and clients.
  • Scope design work accurately and communicate tradeoffs when priorities shift.
  • Keep projects moving without losing quality, knowing when to push for more time and when to make the call.
  • Run structured handoffs that leave no room for ambiguity, applying the same level of precision to QA by reviewing every breakpoint, state, edge case, and interaction before launch.
  • Bring a strategic perspective to design decisions, considering user goals, brand positioning, conversion outcomes, and business outcomes alongside aesthetics.
  • Contribute to discovery and briefing, helping define the right problem before designing the solution.
  • Identify upstream issues, content gaps, unclear hierarchy, structural problems, and conversion blockers before they show up in reviews.
  • Push back when a brief is underdeveloped and come back with a sharper point of view.
  • Build and maintain design standards, Figma file conventions, and component library infrastructure, treating the system as a product that is versioned, documented, and audited regularly.
  • Document design decisions and patterns for reuse across the team.
  • Establish and evolve design review and QA processes.
  • Mentor junior designers through direct feedback, structured critique, and clear example.
  • Contribute to written content for the agency's blog and case studies.
