About The Position

Amentum is seeking a Senior TSCM Practitioner Level 4 to Support the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) in Springfield, VA. This role involves providing subject matter expertise to enhance TSCM activities, related support, and other technical operations. The practitioner will support the NGA TSCM program, TSSC modernization goals, and the Office of Counterintelligence Technical CI Division, offering guidance on national and agency-level policies and regulatory guidelines. Key duties include conducting TSCM, Foreign Visit, Gift Inspection, Digital Counterexploitation, and Technical Evaluation activities. The role also requires providing senior-level briefings on TSCM capabilities and processes, maintaining an in-depth understanding of current TSCM and CI policy, and ensuring NGA compliance with security standards like ICD 705 and DOW standards for collateral areas. The practitioner will identify and mitigate physical and acoustical security deficiencies, analyze complex security issues, and provide cost-effective recommendations. Guidance for NGA facilities under construction, preparation of technical risk assessments, reports of inquiry, after-action reports, and other administrative communications to support the CI mission are also key responsibilities. Technical advice and assistance related to CI and TSCM, generation of finished correspondence and threat reports, and assistance to the Certified TEMPEST Technical Authority (CTTA) with technical security plans and vulnerability assessments are expected. All external engagements require after-action reports within 72 hours, and national/DOW level exercise participation requires an after-action report and briefing within five work days. The role also involves performing Radio Frequency (RF) signal of interest searches, assessing and locating signals, and assisting with the implementation of the TSSC Technician OJT program.

Requirements

Must have active TS/SCI clearance and must be willing to undergo a polygraph exam.
Must have an Interagency Training Center (ITC) TSCM Certification.
Shall complete at least 40 hours of discipline-specific development or refresher training every fiscal year.

Responsibilities

Provide subject matter expertise to enhance the conduct and completion of all TSCM activities, related support and other technical operations supporting the NGA TSCM program, TSSC modernization goals, and Office of Counterintelligence Technical CI Division.
Provide guidance on all governing national and agency level policies, as well as all other regulatory guidelines.
Conduct TSCM, Foreign Visit, Gift Inspection, Digital Counterexploitation, Technical Evaluation activities and other technical operations supporting the NGA TSCM program.
Provide Senior Level briefings on TSCM capabilities and processes.
Maintain an in-depth understanding of current TSCM and CI policy.
Conduct TSCM operations consistent with National and DOW policies governing the employment of TSCM tactics, techniques, and procedures.
Ensure NGA compliance with ICD 705, Physical Security Standards for SCIFs, and DOW standards for collateral areas.
Identify physical and acoustical security deficiencies and develop corrective actions to mitigate the identified deficiencies.
Analyze complex physical and technical security issues and provide cost-effective recommendations that meet policy requirements.
Provide recommendations and guidance for NGA facilities under construction.
Prepare specialized technical risk assessment products, TSCM reports of inquiry, after action reports, tailored briefings, and other administrative communication necessary to support the CI mission.
Provide technical advice and assistance as it relates to CI and TSCM.
Generate finished correspondence, documents, briefing materials, spread sheets and threat reports in accordance with NGA guidelines, as required.
Assist Certified TEMPEST Technical Authority (CTTA) with technical security plans, policy and execution; assess electronic processing equipment for security vulnerabilities.
Prepare after-action reports for all external engagements within 72 hours of completion.
Prepare an after-action report and briefing within five work days after completion of any national or DOW level exercise participation.
Perform Radio Frequency (RF) signal of interest searches.
Assess and locate signals of interest discovered during surveys, system notification and IPMS operations.
Assist implementation of TSSC Technician OJT program preparing technicians for success through training and hands on experience.
