About The Position

The TSCM Engineer will develop, implement, and maintain TSCM programs and capabilities. This role involves conducting physical and technical assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies. The engineer will perform Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM) inspections and TEMPEST surveys, as well as conduct acoustic testing to determine ICD 705 waiver requirements. Additionally, the position requires research and development of policy and instruction at both the agency and ICD levels.

Requirements

Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
Bachelor's degree with 12 – 15 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with 10 – 13 years of relevant experience, with the final level determined based on the skills, education, and experience of the selected candidate. Additional experience may be substituted for degree requirements.
TSCM Certified with experience in TEMPEST assessments.
Expert-level knowledge of radio frequencies, direction-finding procedures, wireless communications, and general TSCM procedures and processes.
General knowledge of counterintelligence investigations, insider threat operations, physical security and anti-terrorism requirements, cybersecurity, digital forensics, and IT infrastructure.

Nice To Haves

Advanced degree in a relevant field.
Proficiency in conducting radio frequency directions, finding missions to identify unauthorized transmitting devices.
Experience providing technical security, subject matter expert input to designated IC working groups.
Experience developing and disseminating workforce education for counterintelligence and security.
Minimum of 5 years of experience working within or alongside the Intelligence Community (IC).
Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
