About The Position

The Senior Technician performs general building maintenance at one or more Hertrich Family of Dealerships or Collision Centers across the Delmarva Peninsula. The role involves a variety of indoor and outdoor maintenance tasks, including minor repairs to electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC systems. The technician monitors building systems, identifies maintenance needs, coordinates outside vendors when needed, and travels between regional locations using a provided company vehicle. This is a full-time position with opportunities for stability, growth, and leadership potential.

Requirements

Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC systems.
Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical maintenance tasks.
Reliable, dependable, and motivated.

Nice To Haves

Three or more years of building or facilities maintenance experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform general building maintenance at one or more area Dealerships or Collision Centers.
Complete minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC repairs.
Repair lighting, switches, outlets, fixtures, and equipment.
Fix leaks, replace faucets, and clear drains.
Perform painting, wall repairs, and door hardware repairs.
Replace HVAC filters and belts, and perform preventative maintenance.
Monitor building systems and identify maintenance needs.
Coordinate and oversee outside vendors when needed.
Travel between dealership locations using a provided company vehicle.
