About The Position

Hertrich Family of Dealerships is hiring a full-time Maintenance Technician to maintain one or more regional dealership and collision center facilities across the Delmarva Peninsula. This hands-on role involves a variety of indoor and outdoor building maintenance tasks, with regional travel between locations in a company-provided vehicle. Requirements

Three or more years of building or facilities maintenance experience preferred.
Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC systems.
Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical maintenance tasks.
Reliable, dependable, and motivated.

Responsibilities

Perform general building maintenance at one or more area dealerships or collision centers.
Complete minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC repairs.
Repair lighting, switches, outlets, fixtures, and equipment.
Fix leaks, replace faucets, and clear drains.
Perform painting, wall repairs, and door hardware repairs.
Replace HVAC filters and belts and perform preventative maintenance.
Monitor building systems and identify maintenance needs.
Coordinate and oversee outside vendors when needed.
Travel between dealership locations using a company-provided vehicle.
