About The Position
The Senior Technician Quality Control performs quality testing and data analysis in support of a biochemical manufacturing facility. The role is in the Quality Control Department in Chaska, Minnesota, and is performed onsite. It reports to the Quality Control Supervisor-Reagents/Other Consumables. The technician works independently with minimal supervision, uses laboratory tools and procedures, performs equipment program and preventative maintenance tasks, and supports continuous improvement across safety, delivery, quality, cost, and inventory management.
Requirements
- High school education and 5 years of applicable experience.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience utilizing laboratory tools and procedures.
Nice To Haves
- A STEM associate's or bachelor's degree.
- Experience working in a laboratory environment.
- Experience in a medical device or FDA- or ISO-regulated environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, and the basic Windows operating system.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality testing and data analysis, in accordance with SOPs, of reagent packs, references, and calibrators.
- Participate in continuous improvement for safety, delivery, quality, cost, and inventory management.
- Perform Equipment Program and Preventative Maintenance tasks.
- Perform other designated tasks as assigned.
