About The Position
Bayonet's Residential Replacement Division is seeking an experienced Senior HVAC Quality Control Technician. The role performs post-installation quality control inspections on residential HVAC system replacements, ensuring workmanship and system performance meet company standards, manufacturer specifications, applicable codes, and requirements for local municipality inspections. The technician identifies installation issues, recommends corrective actions, tests system operation, documents findings, and works with installation teams. The position also involves communicating professionally with homeowners and providing a strong customer experience. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
Requirements
- Previous residential HVAC system change-out experience.
- Extensive knowledge of communicating, multi-stage, and inverter-driven residential HVAC systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without current or future need for employer sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- Perform post-installation quality control inspections on residential HVAC system change-outs.
- Verify installations meet company standards, manufacturer specifications, and applicable codes.
- Diagnose and identify installation issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Test system operation and ensure peak performance before final customer approval.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners and provide an outstanding customer experience.
- Document inspection findings accurately and thoroughly.
- Work closely with installation teams to maintain high quality.
- Ensure systems are prepared to pass local municipality inspections.
