Senior Technician Quality Control
About The Position
The Senior Technician Quality Control performs quality inspection, testing, and data analysis in support of a biochemical manufacturing facility. The role is part of the Quality Control Department in Chaska, Minnesota, and is an on-site position. It reports to the Quality Control Supervisor-Reagents/Other Consumables. The technician tests reagent packs, references, and calibrators according to standard operating procedures; contributes to continuous improvement; performs monitoring, equipment program, and preventive maintenance tasks; and conducts incoming inspections. The role requires someone able to work independently with minimal supervision and experienced in using laboratory tools and procedures.
Requirements
- High school education and 5 years of applicable experience.
- Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience utilizing laboratory tools and procedures.
Nice To Haves
- A STEM associate's or bachelor's degree.
- Experience working in a laboratory environment.
- Experience in a medical device, FDA-regulated, or ISO-regulated environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, and the basic Windows operating system.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality testing and data analysis, per SOP, of reagent packs, references, and calibrators.
- Participate in continuous improvement for safety, delivery, quality, cost, and inventory management.
- Perform monitoring, equipment program, and preventative maintenance tasks.
- Perform incoming inspection tasks.
- Perform other designated tasks as assigned.
