Requirements

  • Leads and manages the technical sourcing process by developing strategies for emerging technologies, negotiating contracts, and supporting cross-functional technical programs to advance organizational objectives.
  • An experienced professional with advanced, interdisciplinary knowledge, resolving difficult and complex issues using broad professional concepts.
  • Guides others, applying advanced principles and company practices.
  • Leads moderate sized projects (or parts of larger projects) with strategic value.
  • Operates autonomously with frequent senior leadership interaction.
  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired.
  • 3+ years of related experience.
  • Certification is required in some areas.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and Implement Sourcing Strategies: Create and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies for emerging technologies, including cloud, AI/ML, IoT, and automation, to support organizational goals.
  • Negotiate and Manage Contracts: Lead contract negotiations and manage supplier agreements to ensure favorable terms, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with business objectives.
  • Manage Supplier Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with security controls and contractual obligations.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with BU stakeholders and cross-functional teams to align sourcing strategies with technology needs, provide cost analysis support, and facilitate technology adoption.
  • Optimize Costs and Manage Risks: Identify cost-saving opportunities, optimize procurement costs, and manage risks associated with technology sourcing to ensure compliance and mitigate potential issues.
