About The Position

Cloaked is hiring a technical product manager to own the software factory, systems, and internal tools used to build and release customer products. The role covers engineering planning, building, reviewing, testing, and shipping, including where AI agents fit into those processes. It also owns developer experience, third-party tools, and how teams across the company access and use data. The role serves engineers, product managers, designers, and business teams. It works with small engineering teams and partners closely with engineering leadership. The product manager will improve how teams work, deliver internal tools and workflows, determine how AI can support software development, and help teams ship better work faster.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience as a technical product manager, technical program manager, or engineer who moved into product.
  • Experience building products for builders, such as developer tools, platforms, internal tools, or AI agents.
  • Comfort with code, including the ability to read code, write SQL, work in GitHub, and participate in system design discussions.
  • Experience building with AI tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor, and an example of something built with them.
  • Practical opinions about the effects of AI on software development, tested through experience.
  • Demonstrated initiative in solving problems, such as through side projects, self-built tools, or starting a company.
  • Ability to turn many requests from busy stakeholders into a clear plan and follow through.
  • Experience working at a fast-growing company and building with the possibility that systems may need to be rebuilt as the company grows.
  • Ability to work quickly with limited resources and light process, adapt based on learning, and exercise care in areas such as security and access.

Nice To Haves

  • Developer platform, CI/CD, or SRE experience.
  • Experience running AI agents in production, including measuring their performance.
  • Experience improving planning and shipping practices in a fast-growing engineering organization.
  • Experience working closely with a data team or managing an analytics request process.
  • Experience with security or access control for internal systems.

Responsibilities

  • Own the AI tools, workflows, and systems that help engineering teams build and ship products.
  • Manage third-party tools the company buys and tools it builds, including setup and upkeep.
  • Determine where AI agents should write, review, test, and fix code, where people should remain involved, and how to build engineer trust in the results.
  • Identify recurring obstacles across teams, deliver solutions, and drive adoption of internal tools.
  • Build small fixes directly when appropriate and delegate larger work to engineers on the team.
  • Define success measures for internal tools, including adoption and time saved.
  • Improve the delivery organization’s planning, workflow from idea to release, and measurement of shipped work.
  • Connect product engineers with platform and data teams to coordinate priorities and delivery.
  • Manage intake and prioritization of data-team requests.
  • Help teams access data faster by turning common questions into self-service tools and automated reports.
