Product Manager Agent Tools

Altice USA•Town of Oyster Bay, NY
•$123,379 - $202,694

About The Position

Optimum is seeking a senior individual contributor to own strategy and outcomes for multiple products in its Internal Tools portfolio. This role frames complex problems, makes defensible trade-offs based on P&L and ROI, and partners across Care, Sales, Field, and back-office teams to improve customer experience and operating costs. It also contributes an Internal Tools perspective to broader B2C and Mobile product strategy and planning. The Product Manager defines audience needs and use cases, establishes product-level priorities and scrum backlogs, develops business cases, evaluates financial outcomes, and tracks KPIs, satisfaction, usage, and performance. The role leads complex initiatives across agent workflows, employee platforms, and contractor tooling, and works with Engineering, UI/UX, business stakeholders, and other teams to deliver and operationalize solutions. It serves as Agile product owner, communicates product vision and roadmaps to Manager- and Director-level stakeholders, and develops product documentation and requirements. The role also assesses opportunities to apply AI, LLM-based features, and automation to internal workflows, using rigorous evaluation and rollout practices and distinguishing appropriate use cases from those where AI is not suitable. The position requires 8–10 years of product management or product operations experience and the ability to lead complex work with minimal assistance. The posted annual starting pay range is $123,379.00–$202,694.00. Applicants must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer; visa sponsorship is not provided.

  • Experience constructing business cases, performing P&L and ROI evaluations, and managing direct product costs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication with Manager- and Director-level stakeholders, including executive-style writing, presentations, and storytelling.
  • Analytics fluency, including identifying meaningful metrics, extracting insights, and making actionable recommendations.
  • Experience as a Product Owner in an Agile environment, including backlog management, sprint planning, release coordination, and Agile ceremonies.
  • Ability to simplify complex problems into core issues and key actions, and pivot as needed while remaining grounded in strategy.

  • Experience contributing to portfolio-level strategy and planning across multiple product areas.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; an MBA or relevant Master's degree is a plus.
  • Telecom, broadband, video, or mobile industry exposure, particularly OSS/BSS, Care, Sales, or Field operations.
  • Familiarity with regulatory, policy, and operational constraints in large telecom environments.
  • Engineering background or technical depth in software development lifecycles.

  • Evaluate P&L and ROI and make recommendations based on value and cost trade-offs.
  • Define reporting requirements; track KPIs, satisfaction, usage, and performance; analyze data and communicate findings.
  • Lead complex, cross-cutting initiatives across agent workflows, employee platforms, and contractor tooling end-to-end.
  • Drive cross-functional priorities, discovery, and ROI with business stakeholders, development, and design teams.
  • Partner with Engineering, UI/UX, and product teams to deliver solutions and represent product perspectives in cross-functional work.
  • Drive product operational readiness with GTM, CPTO, Marketing, Sales, and Field, and support post-launch operational, customer experience, and financial commitments.
  • Serve as Agile product owner, represent Product at Agile ceremonies, and anticipate effort differences among options before commitments are made.
  • Communicate product vision, principles, and roadmaps to Manager- and Director-level stakeholders.
  • Translate business logic for technical stakeholders and product or technical capabilities for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Use storytelling and presentations to connect product strategy to business outcomes and advance decisions.
