About The Position

Parsons is seeking an amazingly talented Senior Technical Director to join their Federal Solutions team. This role involves operating and optimizing direct satellite downlink systems, antennas, and high-data-rate recorders. The director will monitor imagery pipelines and support AI/ML-driven detection workflows, as well as lead passive RF GEO satellite tracking and support SSA CONOPS development. Key responsibilities include producing EO/SAR imagery products, object-detection outputs, and mission-ready GEOINT, along with integrating and automating GEOINT/ISR workflows using DevOps and Python scripting. The position requires deployments CONUS/OCONUS to support ISR missions, exercises, and partner-nation engagements, and involves training and managing analyst teams across imagery exploitation and GEOINT production. Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in GEOINT, remote sensing, imagery analysis, or ISR operations.
  • Hands‑on experience with direct downlink, passive RF tracking, and ground‑station systems.
  • Proficiency with ArcGIS Pro, ENVI, ERDAS IMAGINE, QGIS, and SAR/EO exploitation tools.
  • Strong background in AI/ML‑enabled imagery workflows and DevOps automation.
  • Experience supporting DoD, Space Force, IC, or DHS missions.
  • Ability to lead teams, train analysts, and operate in high‑tempo environments.
  • Top Secret/SCI clearance required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with AGI STK, SOCET SET, and orbit modeling.
  • Familiarity with maritime detection, land‑cover classification, and terrain modeling.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with military and civilian partners.
  • Experience supporting business development and technical demonstrations.
