About The Position

The Senior Tech Operations Specialist works collaboratively on a network operations team to monitor, status, and maintain network operations, including switching equipment, radio equipment, and data communications equipment. The role coordinates and communicates critical incident responses, reporting service impacts to leadership and customers. It supports users conducting missions critical to national security. The position requires extensive knowledge of communications systems and network operations, along with solid knowledge of applying network management systems and related tools. The role may involve work with advanced and classified technologies.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a related specialized area or field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work, plus at least 2 years of relevant experience; or a master’s degree.
Department of Defense Secret security clearance at time of hire.
U.S. citizenship is required.
Extensive knowledge of communications systems and network operations.
Solid knowledge of the technical application of network management systems and corresponding tools.
