Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Real Estate, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of professional experience; property tax, valuation, or accounting preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Excellent executive‑level communication; strong strategic and problem‑solving skills.
  • Strong organizational, research, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategy for major clients and complex engagements; represent clients before taxing authorities during appeals and hearings.
  • Review and approve analyses and client deliverables; enforce quality‑control standards and best practices.
  • Drive business development: identify and scope opportunities, develop proposals, and communicate DMA’s full suite of services.
  • Manage key client accounts: strengthen relationships, expand services, and ensure a high level of client satisfaction.
  • Provide leadership, direction, and coaching to motivate team members; support performance management and career development.
  • Participate in talent acquisition and onboarding to build a high‑performing team.
  • Oversee accurate, timely maintenance of cases, assessments, and jurisdictional information in DMA’s review management system.
  • Supervise production, billing, invoicing, and engagement profitability.
  • Track and ensure compliance with all jurisdictional deadlines for filings, audits, appeals, protests, and tax‑payment schedules.
  • Monitor industry activity, legislation, and court decisions; brief clients and internal leadership on relevant developments.
  • Operate independently with minimal supervision while fostering strong team collaboration.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
