The State & Local Tax (SALT) practice is seeking a Property Tax Senior to review fixed asset detail documents, resolve data issues, prepare and review property tax renditions using Avalara software, conduct tax-related research, and identify potential appeals. This role involves working with clients across various industries and developing team associates and interns.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
2+ years' of relevant experience required

Nice To Haves

Experience in business consulting or services preferred
CPA eligible preferred

Responsibilities

Review fixed asset detail documents submitted by clients required for property tax renditions
Work with client and property tax team to resolve identified data issues
Receive training on Avalara software
Utilize Avalara to prepare and review property tax renditions
Work with clients from multiple industries, including but not limited to Manufacturing, Distribution, Retail & Healthcare
Complete tax-related research and special projects as needed
Review and resolve property tax notices received from Assessors
Identify discrepancies where filing an appeal may be required
Develop and train team associates and interns to help them build inspired careers
Work with many great clients to help them resolve complex issues and get results
