Job Description Senior Advisor, Property Tax As Senior Advisor, Property Tax, you will work with our expanding tax team and play a key role in achieving Company and investor tax objectives. Join a dynamic, growing company and experience a broad range of challenging tax advisory and compliance issues in the renewable energy industry. The Senior Property Tax Advisor supports property tax planning, modeling, and compliance activities while partnering with a cross-functional team of tax professionals. Engage with a cross functional team of tax professionals, project developers, and external advisors to meet ongoing obligations and uncover new opportunities. This role is located in our downtown Chicago office.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 5+ years of multi-state property tax experience.
  • Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.

  • Juris Doctor, CPA, or CMI preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead high impact property tax planning, modeling, and compliance initiatives that shape project outcomes.
  • Steer and coordinate with top advisors and law firms across the country.
  • Act as the go-to property tax expert, connecting insights across teams and driving alignment.
  • Represent the organization in discussions with state and local tax authorities on key project matters.
  • Champion process and technology enhancements that streamline operations and elevate quality.
  • Take the reins on important processes and projects—charting the course, tracking progress, and delivering meaningful results.
