Requirements
- CPA license
- 8+ years of public accounting tax experience
- Strong tax planning and advisory experience
- Experience managing client relationships
- Experience reviewing complex business and individual tax returns
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Desire to serve as a trusted advisor to clients
Responsibilities
- Develop proactive tax strategies for clients
- Research and resolve complex tax matters
- Identify opportunities to improve tax efficiency
- Assist clients with business and financial planning decisions
- Serve as a trusted advisor throughout the year
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships
- Lead client meetings and strategic planning discussions
- Deliver exceptional service and responsiveness
- Identify new opportunities to support clients
- Help clients navigate changing business and tax environments
- Mentor and develop professional staff
- Review complex tax engagements
- Assist with workflow management and practice growth
- Help improve firm processes and efficiencies
- Contribute to the long-term success of the organization
- Consult with business owners on operational and financial matters
- Assist clients with growth planning and decision-making
- Support succession and estate planning initiatives
- Deliver value-added advisory services beyond compliance work
