About The Position

Arterra Wines Canada is seeking a dynamic Senior Talent Attraction Specialist for a contract position. This role is pivotal in managing the full-cycle recruitment process for salaried employees, including senior-level and hard-to-fill positions. The specialist will also contribute to the continuous improvement and evolution of the company's talent attraction tools and practices. Requirements

  • Minimum of 5-8 years' experience in Talent Acquisition.
  • Previous experience hiring for senior and hard-to-fill roles.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge in key TA functions including policy and program development, analytics and data-driven metrics, training, and recruitment.
  • Knowledge of employment compliance in Canada related to recruiting and hiring.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives and competing priorities.
  • Exercises considerable judgment and independent action on a variety of matters requiring confidentiality and diplomacy.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Enjoys working in cross-functional teams, collaborating to execute and achieve organizational goals.
  • Proactively embraces change as an opportunity for growth and innovation.
  • Utilizes change as a catalyst for driving process improvements and enhancing efficiency.

Nice To Haves

  • Completed post-secondary education in HR is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with People & Culture Business Partners and Hiring Managers to align on a sourcing strategy for vacant roles.
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment to source and hire top talent into the organization.
  • Facilitate hiring recommendations based on information obtained through behavioral interviewing, reference checks, and other background checks.
  • Proactively develop a strong internal and external pipeline of diverse talent for future hiring needs.
  • Leverage internal talent sources to drive mobility and employee referrals.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to make recommendations for improving Arterra Wines Canada's employer brand and deliver market intelligence to the business.
  • Make recommendations on the development of new tools, technology, resources, and education materials to improve the Talent Attraction (TA) function and build manager capability on effective talent attraction practices.
  • Support the execution and maintenance of TA reporting, policies, and programs (e.g., employee referral program, background screening).
  • Ensure hiring data is accurate and up-to-date to facilitate accurate TA reporting, analysis, and trends.
