About The Position

This role is for a Senior Talent Acquisition specialist who excels at placing tech talent and is seeking an environment with established processes, a functional ATS, and supportive clients. The company, Hiire, is a 6-person tech recruitment agency in Portugal that operates across Europe, specializing in permanent placement and RPO. The founder is a LinkedIn Top Voice. The ideal candidate will be able to manage their desk cleanly and consistently, focusing on finding and closing the right candidates.

Requirements

  • At least 3+ years in tech recruitment, either agency or RPO
  • Proven experience placing engineers and knowledge of the tech market
  • A track record that can be discussed, including number of placements, stacks, fee levels, and reasons for failed placements
  • Strong process discipline and organized ATS management
  • Proficiency in pre-closing, counter-offer preparation, reference checks, and structured screening
  • Fluent English and Portuguese (non-negotiable)
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and keep the recruitment desk moving during challenging periods

  • Opportunities for future management track roles can be discussed after demonstrating strong delivery in the individual contributor role for the first 6-12 months.

Responsibilities

  • Manage 3–6 active tech roles at any time, end-to-end: brief → shortlist → offer → onboarded
  • Achieve key metrics: time-to-shortlist <7 days, CV-to-interview >40%, offer acceptance >85%
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience, providing feedback to all candidates and debriefs for every interview
  • Maintain ATS hygiene: update notes within 12 hours, avoid duplicates, and keep the pipeline current
  • Provide weekly client updates that are informative and engaging for hiring managers
  • Identify and report broken processes to contribute to SOP improvements
