About The Position

Indiana University Health is seeking a Consultant – Talent Acquisition Senior to join their Talent Acquisition team. This role serves as a strategic partner to the Nursing Recruitment Team, managing the full life cycle recruitment process for nursing departments. The position is full-time, day-shift, operating in a hybrid capacity from Monday through Friday, with on-site presence required at the downtown Indianapolis office as needed. Responsibilities include conducting intake conversations with hiring leaders, designing and posting positions, executing advanced sourcing strategies, managing the end-to-end recruitment process from screening to pre-hire preparation, applying total rewards strategies for compensation packages, providing workforce planning analysis, and leading special projects focused on sourcing and project management. The role involves consulting with leadership on talent selection, maintaining candidate experience standards, and managing the offer process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field required, or equivalent years of experience.
  • Detailed knowledge of internet sourcing and recruiting strategies and practices.
  • Expert knowledge of compensation structures and experience applying processes and guidelines for internal and external candidate hires.
  • Knowledge and understanding of HR related regulations and laws (e.g. FLSA; COBRA; ADA; FMLA; etc.).
  • Expertise and detailed knowledge in passive sourcing approaches, tools, and technologies.
  • Demonstrated success implementing sourcing strategies, process improvement initiatives, and measuring ROI.
  • Proficiency in MS office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and an applicant tracking system.
  • 5-7 years of talent acquisition experience within a matrixed organization.
  • Healthcare setting preferred.
  • Nurse recruitment experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive intake conversations with hiring leaders.

  • Execute advanced sourcing strategies to identify active and passive talent.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including initial screening, interview coordination, candidate selection, and pre-hire preparation.
  • Apply total rewards strategies to develop market-competitive compensation packages.
  • Provide workforce planning analysis to ensure strategies are in place to secure top-tier talent.
  • Lead special projects as requested, focusing on sophisticated sourcing techniques and project management.
  • Guide leaders in selecting the best talent while maintaining high standards for candidate experience and the offer process.
