About The Position

Arcfield is seeking a Senior Systems Testing Engineer to join a skilled, long-standing team supporting integration, testing, and analysis of operational and emerging systems. The role requires understanding of the Intelligence Community and customer domain, with a focus on systems engineering processes that support operational mission execution. The successful candidate may support product evaluations, trade studies, new product initializations, and algorithm assessments. Familiarity with current GEOINT systems and products is useful for developing, assessing, and executing test and verification methodologies.

Requirements

• Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
• Experience requirement varies by degree: BS 10–12 years, MS 8–10 years, or PhD 5–7 years.
• Degree in Imaging Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a STEM field, or successful completion of an accredited U.S. military/government imagery analysis training program.
• Experience working directly with, or general knowledge of, PAN, IR, MSI, RADAR, LIDAR, and FMV imagery and associated products such as Full Spectrum GEOINT (FSG).
• Knowledge or experience in all facets of imagery exploitation and artifact/anomaly identification.
• Experience in mission technical capabilities and system performance analysis and assessment.
• Understanding of the systems engineering life cycle, including independent testing and data verification.
• Ability to independently determine and develop approaches to solutions.
• Proficient oral and written communication skills.
• Self-starter who requires minimal supervision.
• Ability to assume a team lead role for the work group.
• Demonstrated ability to work successfully in team environments.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in a DoD or IC operational environment.
• Experience working on Product Initialization teams.
• Understanding of Machine Learning and Neural Network algorithms.
• Working knowledge of coding/scripting techniques such as C, Python, Matlab, or IDL.
• Working knowledge of various basic ELTs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, Confluence, and JIRA.

Responsibilities

• Perform analysis and evaluations of operational capabilities.
• Manage projects required to integrate, test, and evaluate systems.
• Conduct baseline assessments of system performance to support mission initializations.
• Evaluate algorithms to quantify performance for their intended mission applications.
• Respond to anomalous mission behaviors and recommend possible causes and corrective actions.
