We are seeking a Senior Systems Integration Engineer to work across autonomy, digital platforms, machine engineering, manufacturing, and service organizations to ensure subsystems operate together as one coherent, robust solution that meets Caterpillar standards for quality, reliability, and customer trust. The role is accountable for end‑to‑end technical ownership of system connectivity, data flows, and validation strategies supporting enterprise machine readiness capabilities. This role defines how machine data is generated, connected, validated, and consumed to ensure machines are ready to work (“dirt‑ready”) while also driving architectural and process changes required to enable future autonomy, automation, and digital capabilities. The role serves as a technical authority for system health, quality, and integration robustness, with responsibility for identifying risks, driving corrective actions, and influencing enterprise roadmaps to improve scalability and resilience.
