About The Position

Nscale is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Manager to enhance analytical rigor, forecasting accuracy, and capital efficiency within its global hardware supply chain. This role is crucial for translating demand signals, deployment plans, and infrastructure expansion roadmaps into effective procurement, allocation, and inventory strategies. The position involves close collaboration with commercial, infrastructure, finance, and supply chain planning teams to ensure the timely and correct availability of GPUs and supporting hardware across global datacenter regions. The Senior Supply Chain Manager will play a key role in scaling hardware availability while minimizing excess inventory, stranded capital, and supply risks, contributing significantly to the analytical foundation of a rapidly growing AI infrastructure business.

Requirements

  • 8 -10 years of experience in supply chain analysis, demand planning, or hardware procurement analytics
  • Experience in datacenter, cloud infrastructure, hyperscale, or high-performance computing environments
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with large operational datasets
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to turn complex analysis into executive-level insights

Nice To Haves

  • Direct exposure to GPU-based supply chains across multiple regions is a strong advantage
  • Experience working with OEMs, hardware vendors, and global logistics providers
  • Experience with supply chain planning systems such as SAP IBP, Anaplan, NetSuite, or similar
  • Familiarity with BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI

Responsibilities

  • Develop short-, mid-, and long-term demand forecasts for GPUs, servers, networking, and supporting infrastructure.
  • Translate commercial pipeline, expansion plans, and infrastructure roadmaps into hardware demand models.
  • Perform scenario modeling for capacity expansion, supply constraints, and regional demand shifts.
  • Improve forecast accuracy and planning methodologies.
  • Build detailed supply visibility models across GPU vendors, OEMs, and integrators.
  • Track allocation risks, lead times, and region-specific supply constraints.
  • Monitor supply concentration risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Support strategic allocation decisions across multiple global datacenter regions.
  • Analyze inventory levels, turns, aging, and stranded capital risks.
  • Identify excess, obsolete, or underutilized hardware and recommend rebalancing strategies.
  • Support spare pooling and buffer stock optimization.
  • Build reporting that connects inventory position to capital efficiency metrics.
  • Model cross-region allocation strategies to balance customer demand and hardware availability.
  • Support new datacenter launches with hardware readiness analysis.
  • Analyze customs, logistics, and import/export constraints affecting deployment timelines.
  • Build and maintain dashboards covering demand versus supply position, GPU allocation status, inventory health and aging, and procurement lead times.
  • Provide executive-ready analysis to support strategic supply decisions.
  • Partner with Finance to align hardware forecasts with capital planning models.
  • Develop risk models and sensitivity analyses for supply shocks, vendor concentration, geopolitical constraints, pricing volatility, allocation shifts, and demand surges.
