About the position
The Senior Strategist role at Highsnobiety requires a nimble problem solver with 4-6+ years of strategy experience at a creative agency. The successful candidate will have a superior knowledge of and innate instinct for culture, a deep appetite for developing brand strategy, and a proven track record of co-developing strategic marketing initiatives for clients. They will collaborate with the strategy team and wider US commercial team to build impactful solutions for brand partners, unlock new strategic partnerships, and renew existing key accounts. The role is based out of the New York office and offers a hybrid work model, motivating and creative work atmosphere, and the opportunity to proactively shape a company and help build a global brand.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the strategy team and wider US commercial team to build impactful solutions for brand partners, unlock new strategic partnerships, and renew existing key accounts.
- Actively contribute to how strategy is used as the business evolves (being agile, entrepreneurial and giving input to craft the future).
- Develop strategic partnership roadmaps that demonstrate how Highsnobiety creates brand and business transformation for partners.
- Be a front line player in the new business channel, identifying new categories and go-to-market plans to secure new business in these categories.
- Work closely with the Creative team; creating briefs fueled by cultural and audience insight and providing strategic guidance throughout the creative development process.
- Leverage all of our in-house insight and research capabilities to ensure we are using proprietary intelligence to unlock new opportunities that differentiate us within the marketplace.
Requirements
- 4-6+ years of strategy experience at a creative agency.
- A nimble problem solver who understands the intricacies of today’s cultural context + business landscape and is keen to deliver new and impactful solutions.
- The ability to lead strategic conversations internally and externally that navigate the needs of both Highsnobiety and the client.
- A strong ability to interpret research (both quantitative and qualitative); to translate proprietary intel into solutions tailored for different industries and specific clients.
- Empathy: to actively put yourself in the shoes of the person on the other side of the table; ensuring we are presenting relevant and meaningful solutions to the right people, in the right way.
- A strong team player with a positive attitude and mindset.
