About The Position
As a Senior Statistical Analysis Software Platform Activity Support specialist, you will support, maintain, and optimize statistical analysis software platforms that enable business insights and analytics solutions. The role focuses on keeping platforms operating seamlessly, enabling data-driven decision-making, and supporting technology solutions for clients worldwide. You will provide expert-level platform support and troubleshooting, monitor performance and availability, coordinate platform updates, and assist with integrations to enterprise data sources and reporting solutions. You will also produce platform activity and usage reports, support capacity planning, ensure compliance with security and licensing requirements, coordinate with vendors, and provide technical guidance to junior team members.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience supporting and administering statistical analysis software platforms in an enterprise environment.
- Proficiency in SAS, R, SPSS, or equivalent statistical software, including a strong understanding of installation, configuration, and maintenance procedures.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or PowerShell for automation and platform management.
- Solid understanding of Linux/UNIX and Windows operating systems.
- Familiarity with data security standards and compliance frameworks.
Nice To Haves
- Relevant certifications in statistical software platforms or IT infrastructure, such as SAS Certified Platform Administrator or ITIL.
- Experience with cloud-based analytics platforms or containerization technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Docker.
- Background supporting large-scale analytics or data science projects.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert-level support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for statistical analysis software platforms such as SAS, R, SPSS, and Python-based environments.
- Monitor platform performance, ensure high availability, and proactively resolve incidents and technical issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement software updates, patches, and enhancements while minimizing downtime.
- Assist in integrating statistical analysis tools with enterprise data sources and reporting solutions.
- Develop and execute platform activity reports, usage analytics, and capacity planning documentation.
- Ensure compliance with organizational security policies, license management, and audit requirements.
- Coordinate with vendors and technology partners to resolve issues and improve services.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives.
