About The Position

The Senior Staff Technical Program Manager – Infrastructure and Platform will be a key leader in a new AI enablement team within GE Aerospace’s defense systems business. The team aims to accelerate time-to-value with AI by enabling safe, scalable experimentation and maturing successful pilots into enterprise-grade solutions. The role partners with business stakeholders and multiple DT and technical teams to define scope, requirements, and execution plans for deploying and integrating AI and related technologies. It owns program execution end-to-end, creating clarity, alignment, and transparency across stakeholders. The successful candidate is expected to be proactive, resourceful, action-oriented, and focused on turning AI potential into measurable outcomes. The position owns the platform product backlog and intake, translates the Director’s roadmap into a resourced, dated plan with named owners, and manages the platform team’s daily management, WOR, and MOR cadence. It drives adoption of a shared golden-path delivery pipeline across four product-development teams, coordinates onboarding to shared services, manages dependencies and trade-offs across teams, maintains standard work, and tracks platform adoption, reliability, and delivery metrics including DORA. This is a remote position. The role requires legal authorization to work in the U.S. and access to U.S. export-controlled information; employment is contingent on proving U.S. Person status as defined in the posting. The base pay range is $131,000 to $189,000 annually, with eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus. The posting is expected to close November 2, 2026.

  • Manage dependencies between the platform team and product and architecture teams without formal authority, using transparent intake and prioritization criteria.
