About The Position

Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) combines software and systems engineering to build and run large-scale, massively distributed, fault-tolerant systems. SRE ensures that Google's services—both internally critical and externally visible—meet users' reliability and uptime needs while improving quickly. The team also monitors system capacity and performance. Software development focuses on optimizing existing systems, building infrastructure, and eliminating work through automation. In this role, you will manage complex scale challenges using expertise in coding, algorithms, complexity analysis, and large-scale system design. SRE values intellectual curiosity, problem solving, openness, collaboration, bold thinking, and a blame-free environment. The organization supports self-direction and meaningful projects, along with mentorship and opportunities to learn and grow.
