About The Position

The Senior Staff Consultant - Business Analyst works with stakeholders to understand business processes, challenges, and technology needs, then gathers and analyzes business and functional requirements for technology projects. The role translates business needs into user stories, workflows, and technical specifications, and conducts gap analysis and impact assessments to ensure solutions align with business goals. The consultant partners with development teams, architects, and engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions, assess existing systems, and recommend improvements or integrations. The role also serves as a liaison between business and technical teams, communicates technical concepts to different audiences, and prepares reports, dashboards, and technical documentation. The position supports user acceptance testing by defining test cases and confirming requirements are met, helps troubleshoot implementation issues, and supports the transition from development to production through documentation and training.

Requirements

6–10 years of experience as a business analyst or product owner in a technology-driven environment.
Strong understanding of software development, databases, APIs, cloud computing, and system integration.
Ability to break down complex business problems and translate them into technical solutions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging with business and technical teams.
Experience working in Agile environments with product owners, developers, and testers.
Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes, and propose effective solutions.

Nice To Haves

Experience with SQL, JIRA, Confluence, Agile methodologies, API documentation tools such as Postman or Swagger, data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience in AI, machine learning, or data analytics projects.
CBAP, CSPO, or Agile certifications.

Facilitate meetings, workshops, and discussions to drive decision-making and solution design.
Support UAT by defining test cases and ensuring business requirements are met.
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues during implementation.
Support the transition from development to production with documentation and training.
