About The Position

The Senior Business Analyst works with stakeholders to understand business processes, challenges, and technology needs, and gathers, documents, and analyzes business and functional requirements for technology projects. The role translates business needs into user stories, workflows, and technical specifications, and conducts gap analysis and impact assessments to ensure solutions align with business goals. The position works closely with development teams, architects, and engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions and design scalable, efficient systems. It involves understanding the software development life cycle, cloud technologies, APIs, databases, and system integrations; assessing existing systems; and recommending technical improvements. The Senior Business Analyst serves as a liaison between business and technical teams, communicates technical concepts to varied audiences, prepares reports and documentation, and facilitates meetings and workshops. The role also supports user acceptance testing, implementation troubleshooting, production transition, documentation, and training.

Requirements

8–12 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner in a technology-driven environment.
Strong understanding of software development, databases, APIs, cloud computing, and system integration.
Ability to break down complex business problems and translate them into technical solutions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging business and technical teams.
Experience working in Agile environments with product owners, developers, and testers.
Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes, and propose effective solutions.
Experience with SQL, JIRA, Confluence, Agile methodologies, API documentation tools such as Postman or Swagger, data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is listed as a plus.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience in AI, machine learning, or data analytics projects.
Certifications such as CBAP, CSPO, or Agile certifications.
Experience with SQL, JIRA, Confluence, Agile methodologies, Postman, Swagger, Power BI, Tableau, AWS, Azure, or GCP.
