About The Position

The Senior Specialist, Sales Operations sits within the sales team and manages all activities following the close of a sale, serving as the primary liaison between customers and the operations team to ensure smooth execution and delivery. This role is responsible for owning operational execution across the Wholesale channel, ensuring orders flow efficiently from customer agreement through fulfillment, identifying operational risks and proactively developing mitigation plans, and serving as the primary operational partner to Sales leadership. The role also involves establishing clear ownership of execution tasks across support teams, consolidating channel forecasts and coordinating with Demand Planning, monitoring sales performance versus forecast, and partnering with Supply Chain to ensure inventory supports channel needs. Additionally, the Senior Specialist will own governance of item setup processes, ensure pricing accuracy, establish standard workflows for product launches, improve data accuracy across systems, and develop SOPs to standardize channel execution processes. The role requires ensuring new programs and customers are operationally ready prior to launch, coordinating cross-functional readiness for seasonal programs, identifying execution gaps and driving resolution, improving internal coordination between Sales, Operations, and Planning teams, and establishing operational timelines and accountability for channel initiatives. Finally, the Senior Specialist will own the resolution of operational execution issues impacting customers, identify root causes of recurring issues and implement corrective actions, and serve as an escalation point for channel execution issues. This position also involves cross-functional leadership, partnering with Sales, Product Development, Finance, IT, and Operations teams.

Requirements

  • 5 years’ experience in Sales Operations, Channel Operations, Supply Chain coordination, or Commercial Operations
  • Strong process improvement and operational problem-solving skills
  • Strong cross-functional leadership experience
  • Strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail
  • Experience working with ERP systems (D365 preferred)
  • Strong Excel and data analysis skills
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.

Responsibilities
