About The Position

The North America Markets (NAM) Consumer Credit group is focused on profitably growing Mastercard's Consumer Credit business in the region by developing and enhancing consumer credit products and value propositions that address the needs of issuers and consumers. This group actively collaborates with a wide variety of internal Mastercard teams as well as external customers, partners and vendors. Our team vision is to build differentiated products with unique value propositions that meets the needs of our cardholders to grow the Consumer Credit business. This role is responsible for consumer credit benefit and experience strategy - designing & managing new and enhanced product benefits and the digital first experience to support issuer card distribution that will bring competitiveness of our products.

Responsibilities

  • Execute on strategic benefit partnerships to embed in issuer card programs that will increase cardholder spend & brand perception.
  • Support development of benefit strategies aligned with product positioning and customer segments.
  • Serve as day-to-day lead for benefits—project management, ensuring high-quality delivery.
  • Evaluate benefit performance to recommend enhancements & to inform issuer GTM strategy & uplift to Customer.
  • Develop documentation, review user experience flows, create operational processes, and issuer or consumer-facing materials.
  • Partner closely with Legal, Product, Data & Services and Account Managers to develop, manage and optimize benefits.
  • Continuously evaluate industry trends and new market players to ensure product positioning remains relevant & ability to derive insights to put into action.
  • Contribute to our product strategy by generating ideas that will enhance our product offering and create competitive advantage while extracting the most value.
