About The Position

As the Senior Specialist, Global Mobility, you will support the Global Mobility team in executing international and domestic assignment programs. You will provide high-touch support by managing vendor relationships, global relocation, and tax support processes. You will collaborate with HR, Payroll, Finance, and Tax to ensure compliance and a positive employee experience. This role follows a hybrid model, with three days per week in the New York office, and reports to the Director of Global Mobility.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience in Global Mobility, relocation, or immigration coordination.
Experience with Workday or a similar HRIS.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting and cost modeling.
Experience advising employees, managers, and external partners.

Nice To Haves

Global Mobility Specialist certification or equivalent experience.
Experience managing external vendor relationships and invoice/billing reconciliation.
Experience focused on process improvement and compliance.

Responsibilities

Help prepare cost projections, assignment letters, and benefit summaries.
Issue service orders to external providers.
Follow up with assignees on questions and manage their relocation and tax support with external providers.
Help with the outsourcing of Global Mobility payments.
Demonstrate support for and understanding of journalistic independence and commitment to the mission to seek the truth and help people understand the world.
